Where Your Money Goes

Every donation makes a direct difference. Birthday Smiles is a 100% volunteer-run organization, so donated funds, goods, and services go directly toward creating memorable birthday celebrations for the children we serve.

Donations help provide birthday gifts, party supplies, food, games and special projects at our partner facilities. We work closely with each facility to understand its needs and use donated resources where they can have the greatest impact.

A typical Birthday Smiles celebration costs approximately $500. Your support helps us give children facing difficult circumstances something every child deserves: a day filled with celebration, joy, and hope.

Birthday Smiles is currently in need of the following:

We are no longer accepting toy donations because each child gets to choose their own birthday gift. While we truly appreciate the generosity behind toy donations, we found that we rarely had the specific gifts the children requested.

Needed on an ongoing basis:

• Children's Books, used or new

• Juice boxes

• Stuffed goodie bags

• Gift cards to Target, Walmart, and grocery stores

• Large empty gift bags

Donate Your Time
